New Blog

I'm not sure if anyone still reads this or not, but I've got a new blog at my own site.

Wow, it's been over a year since I've posted here.

I'm still alive and stuff.  I pretty much forgot that I even had this blog until about five minutes ago.  It's changed quite a bit from how I remember it, but that's ok.

I do most of my blogging at http://my.opera.com/javaman and occasionally at www.myspace.com/javaman83 , but my blogging is rather infrequent, as it always has been.

I can't believe...

that it is June already.  I never believed the old folks, when I was growing up, who said that the older you get, the faster time goes by.
Well, old people, I am here right now to tell you that you were correct.
Now don't let it go to your heads or anything.

I'm listening to Robert Pollard's Edison's Demos right now, and you would be too if you knew what was good for you.  As much as I love Guided by Voices, Bob's solo work never fails to astound me. This man knows how to write a song.

I still don't know what to think about Ryan getting married in January. There is nothing I can really do to stop it, but I don't think it is a good idea at this point in either of their lives. This is one that he has to figure out on his own though.

Apparently Shrub The Elder wants his other son to run for president now too. ugh.
I don't think things would be much better under the democrats, but at least it would be a change. It's time for a new form of oppression for a couple of years. I'm tired of the one we have now.

This is the longest blog I have written in a long time.  I think I'll crosspost it because I like it.

P.S. for xanga people. I'm not dead, I swear.

Not much of interest going on around here, as usual.
I just bought a memory foam pillow. It's my new favorite thing.
It's really nice waking up and not having my neck hurt like hell.
I go through pillows like a pothead goes through cheetos, though.
Maybe since I bought a better one this time, it will last a bit longer.

I'm going to a show this Saturday in Pittsburgh. Bunjie Jambo and Creta Bourzia.  I've never seen Creta Bourzia before, but Bunjie Jambo is always a fun time.
